Description

We seek an experienced engineer with a strong commercial focus to join our clients Technical Sales and Support Team, based from Hove this full time role is key to developing an outstanding customer experience.

Key Tasks

Produce accurate, consistent and timely quotes for customers, review customer tender documents, liaise with the Design Engineering team, consult with suppliers, provide laad time estimates.

Produce an estimated Bills of Material, for quotation purposes.
Construct commercial and technical documentation for inclusion in quotations, RAMS and O&M documentation.
Transmit documents to customers for review and/or approval.
Load sales orders and update information into the Materials Resource Planning System - Progress Plus.
Assist with sales forecasting. internal audits. new procedures and systems.


Business Responsibilities:
Work within the frameworks provided by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.


Qualifications:
Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship / Electrical HND / Electrical BSc or equivalent.


Experience:

Essential - previous sales experience with Low Voltage Switchgear
Desirable - previous experience in a similar role.
LV equipment sales.

Skills.


PC Literate:
AutoCad or Solidworks experience (desirable)
