Responsible for:
internal auditing of support files and property folders.


Hours: 37.5 per week

The role is permanent following a successful probation period.

Qualifications/experience:


Performing the full audit cycle of support case files with the ability to identify errors and put forward suggestions to improve support provided. Meet predefined targets within the set timescales. Having a high ability to critically review case files and poses a high level of attention to detail. Knowledge of supported housing service delivery. To be aware of professional best practice in the field of support delivery including evidencing, and to incorporate this into Aspect's support practice.


The auditors will be held accountable for ensuring high standards of support files equally with the senior support workers and support workers.

If any files upon external audit is deemed inadequate or fails, then each of the above mentioned will be held responsible.


Responsibilities:


  • The Quality Assurance Co-ordinator will help ensuring that reviews and audits are passed, as well as ensuring that all aspects of Support files are compliant with the legal entities that are applicable to it.
  • To complete a review cycle of audits for entire workload given to auditors within the set timescales in respect to their caseload.
  • To complete an audit report on all case files audited.
  • To meet auditors daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • To keep up to date audit tracker spreadsheet and to maintain auditor tracker daily so that any new files can be audited.
  • To provide a third of 20% of Reliance and Ash-Shahada files to be put forward for external review. This target is dictated by the RLS's and may be adjusted as and when required.
  • To implement any improvements in the auditing process as identified
  • To work closely and report to the senior support workers to internally audit paperwork associated with service users.
  • To help facilitate the processes to ensure external reviews and audits are passed on an ongoing basis and ensuring these processes are communicated to senior/support workers.
  • To internally audit support worker case files and ensure spot checks are being completed by senior support workers. This will be three spot checks for Reliance and three spot checks for ash-Shahada per week as a minimum.
  • To provide training to support workers on how to complete files to pass level on Fridays if required. The aim is to promote continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • To help facilitate the business is GDPR compliant and working in line with the Data Protection Act 2018, especially in respect to case files.
  • To ensure that staff understand and implement policies appropriately, working in conjunction with HR and project manager in respect to support services.
  • To ensure that our properties are legally compliant with the legal entities overseeing them, and that all safety checks are completed within the property folders in conjunction with Senior Support Worker.
  • Work with our compliance manager to Safety check property compliance paperwork.
  • Ensuring property compliance certificates are in date and liaising with the compliance manager and Senior Support Worker to ensure that expiry dates are not missed.
