Software Developer

Farnborough, Hampshire (Hybrid working, 3 days remote/work from home per week)

Software Developer (Java / Spring) required by a by a fast growing secure by design cutting-edge technology company based in Farnborough, Hampshire, providing on-premise and cloud solutions into the Defence and Security sector.

The Java Software Developerwill join my client on fast moving and influential project work which is already underway in the aforementioned Defence and Security Sector and will be working in a tech stacks and platforms including, but not limited to; Java / Spring, React, Node, Azure,GPS, AWS, Kubernetes / K8S, Docker, Elasticsearch, AI, VR, Machine Learning and much much more.

£100,000 per year depending on experience

What you will need

Agile methodologies/practices including Test Driven Development
Java / Spring
Git
Experience in microservices architecture, including an understanding of containers and serverless implementation. This will include Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, REST
NodeJS / TypeScript / React / Redux / Jest
Container technologies using Kubernetes
Linux / Windows
Use of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

Nice to have

Appreciation of the constraints and requirements imposed on development within secure, safety critical environments
As many as the following as possible may be an advantage / a new area for you to learn: Scripting, GitLab, Kafka, NiFi, No-SQL stores e.g. ElasticSearch, MongoDB, OAuth, Jfrog Artefactory, HashiCorp Vault, Synopsys Coverity & Seeker
