Care Coordinator

Oncall care agency is looking for a motivated and organized individual to join the team as a care coordinator in Glasgow.

Your Job will entail:

Closely working with service users, families, and other professional bodies
Liaise as necessary with social workers, district nurses, local councils, and GPs in respect of developing and delivering holistic, personcentered packages of care.
Coordinating staff rota's
General administration duties.
Fieldbased shifts (if required)
Work as part of the oncall rota
Conduct service user's reviews and risk assessments
Spot check and supervision for support works.
Supporting the support workers and identifying training needs
Identifying recruitment needs.
Ensure that staffing levels are adequately maintained in line with client requirements
Management of PPE levels and distribution

Person Specification

Car drivers and have access to their own vehicle
Previous experiences in a coordinator role, or managerialbased role.
Experiences in delivering and managing care support services
Able to prioritize and work under pressure
Flexible; willing and able to work outside normal hours when requested
Genuinely passionate about delivering highquality care.

Required Qualifications

Experience with scheduling and excellent IT skills
Effective written and verbal communication
Previous experience in the home care field
SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.
