We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic person to support children from across the whole school.

You must be able to support class teachers from Reception to Year 6 in addition to working with individuals and small groups of children.

Through doing this you will assist children with their learning, enabling them to achieve the work set by the class teacher and deliver intervention and support programmes such as Beat Dyslexia and speech and language programmes.

Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as support and training will be put in place.

You will:

- be patient, kind and caring
- be flexible and enthusiastic in your approach to the children's and school's needs
- have high expectations of children's behaviour and achievements
- possess good literacy and numeracy skills (at least GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent)
- demonstrate a high regard for safeguarding procedures
- demonstrate initiative and the ability to communicate well with teaching staff, pupils and parents.

We will offer you:

- a welcoming, friendly and supportive staff team dedicated to raising standards
- happy children who are eager to learn and make the most of their time in our school
- well behaved children
- a school that strives for every child to reach their true potential
- supportive staff and governors
- opportunities to grow and develop as a professional
- a beautiful setting.
