Description

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
To provide high quality evidence based support/ interventions for autistic children and adolescents. To support with the face to face component of ASD assessments.

Clinical Support diagnostic assessments using standardised assessment tools for possible Autism and related neurodevelopmental and behavioural and/or mental health concerns for children and young adolescents.

Contributing to assessment, formulation, and recommendations for young people with complex presentations of Autism Provide post diagnostic interventions with young people Work in collaboration with the wider network, including parents, school, and social care when necessary Liaise or work directly with parents, schools and professionals concerned on specific cases when required.


Supervision To participate in regular clinical supervision Research To contribute to research project when applicable General Organise own workload under the direct support and supervision of Qualified Clinical Psychologist.

Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations as given in the Health & Safety Manual.

To contribute to team meetings and pursuits To carry out, as and when required, any additional tasks and responsibilities as are reasonable compatible with this job description and its objectives.
