Description
Meraki Talent are seeking a Paraplanner Manager for a UK wide asset management firm.

As part of this role, applicants will be managing a network of paraplanning support activities, including technical and report writing activities.

This role can be aligned to Glasgow or Edinburgh offices; adopts a predominate remote approach to work, however applicants will be required to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh periodically.

Key duties will include;

  • Providing technical advice on report writing
  • Ensuring reports are accurate, prior to submission
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the wider team
  • Attract experienced paraplanners to the business
  • Supporting paraplanners, ensuring training needs are met
  • Supporting technical managers with suitability guidance
  • Assessing file reviews, ensuring remedial actions are actioned
  • Maintaining and updating paraplanning procedures
  • Following Financial Conduct Authority rules and guidelines
Applicants should be Level 4 qualified, with previous paraplanning experience.

As well as the technical skills, applicants should be comfortable to lead and mentor a team of paraplanners and supportive administrative employees.
