Description

Working under the supervision of an Advanced Paramedic and GP, the post holder will attend patients in their own home who wish to be seen by a health care professional.

The role will also rotate through the Same Day Access Hub.

Working within their scope of practice, the paramedic will assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with a wide range of undifferentiated problems and minor illness; seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs.

There may be a requirement to see extra or emergency patients.

Patients requiring a home visit will first be triaged by the GP who will provide advice and support.
