Description
The Research Lifecycle Programme is running a project to improve how the University manages research data. The project has multiple workstreams - some based in the Library and some based in the Research IT.
As Project Coordinator, you will work in a small, supportive project team, alongside a Project Lead, Project Manager, Comms & Engagement Officer, Information Governance Officer, Business Change Manager, Electronic Lab Notebook Specialist and Data Storage Specialist.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Good administration and organisational skills.
- Good note taking and writing skills.
- Good at using tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Proactive approach to tracking down information.
- Good at summarising information.
- Comfortable working as part of a team, sharing and seeking knowledge with/from others.
- Understanding of the research data lifecycle
- Understanding of how projects are run and the purpose of basic project documentation such as risk & issue logs, plans, monthly reports, business cases.
Desirable:
- Experience of working as part of a project team
- Experience of working in an environment where research data is an important concern
- Experience of working in an IT environment
