About the role

In this security supervisor role, you will join us as Security Community Porter (this is our internal job title) here at Guarding UK.

Supervising the security team, you will be working in a building that is modern and in pristine condition (internally & externally).Your key role is to maintain the look and feel of the building get to know the people within the community and suggest ways in which the team could provide the best support to the people who work and visit the building.

You will continuously monitor the building and report any faults as well.

You will be flexible and willing to help and act as a key part of the team and part of the building community.

During your working day you will focused on customer service and workingwith the clients FOH team.
Other duties are delivering post, monitoring CCTV, supervising the security team, and various other security duties. Understand and strictly adhere to GUK's procedures and protocols of the building with regards Health & Safety, Security measures and buildingaccess control

You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the continued success of GUK.

Core Responsibilities::

Carry out walk arounds in the building (internally & externally) to identify any faults ensuring the building is maintained, well presented and clean at all times
Reporting faults to the Building Manager
Your attitude should always focus on 'how can we help' in all situations to the team and to the residents and client
Provide information, directions/escort Residents, Guests to their desired locations
Deal with any queries from Residents/Guests and offer assistance with a sense of urgency
Provide Residents/Guests with acts of kindness to make them feel welcomed and create a rapport maintain excellent professional relationships
Understand and strictly adhere to GUK's procedures and protocols of the building with regards Health & Safety, Security measures and building access control

Must have::

SIA licence
Right to work in the UK
Excellent customer service skills
Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
Problem solving
A good level of spoken and written English
Dealing with difficult people and finding solutions
