Part-time Accounts Clerk - St. Albans, United Kingdom - Accountancy Action
Description
My client is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk on a permanent, part-time basis.Working as part of a close knit Finance team your duties will primarily relate to purchase ledger and/or sales ledger.
Working in a hands-on environment this role requires a confident self-starter who is used to working effectively with suppliers and customers.
Key duties will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and expenses
- Resolving supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensuring that invoices are authorised for payment
- Contacting customers regarding the outstanding payment of invoices
- Raising sales invoices
You will have the following skills:
- Strong purchase ledger / sales ledger skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Selfsufficient with good working knowledge of software / accounting systems
