Night Care Assistant: 33 hours per week

Norton House Care Home is a small residential home in the beautiful market town of Elland, just south of Halifax.

We provide person-centred care to all of our lovely residents, and are always looking for new ways to make them smile.

We are looking to expand our team by recruiting a Night Care Assistant. This role is a rewarding position providing person-centred, holistic care to our residents.

This role includes the provision of personal care, supporting residents well-being, supporting residents at mealtimes, helping with activities and completing the documentation which evidences our high-quality standards of care.

You will be supported on nights by one other carer currently according to our dependency.

You will also have regular access to the management team and you will be able to meet with the Senior in Charge at handover at night and in the morning if you have any queries or concerns.

Norton House is a small home with fantastic opportunities for training and development.

You will receive a full three day induction, regardless of previous care experience, so you have the opportunity to get to know the residents, the team and the home.

You will receive full training, and have the opportunity to complete NVQ qualifications while you're with us

This position involves working three 12 hour shifts each week with one hour unpaid break each day.

The role involves working alternate weekends and you may be required to work over bank holidays and special occasions, such as Christmas and New Year.
