ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE :
Design & Marketing


Our client is an international marketing services organisation / agency who have a brilliant opportunity to join the team of one of their major flagship clients.


A key member of the team, supporting Account Managers and Directors in the delivery and development of exceptional studio services to ensure client (a major financial services organisation) and agency objectives are met.

You will be developing commercial expertise and wider project management skills which will support career development.


OVERALL:

  • Contribute positively to the creation of a spirit of collaboration with your colleagues
  • Keep all relevant people informed of client or internal activities
  • Ensure a consistent flow of clear communication on your clients and projects to the senior team
  • Getting involved with various design, marketing collateral and digital content projects including on and off line marketing pieces, some videography / content projects too.
  • Demonstrate a passion and aptitude for developing your own account and project management skills in a supportive environment
  • Contribute significantly to the maintenance of all internal systems, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed
  • Develop great relationships with all client stakeholders and offer strategy & advice for design, digital, studio, videography and content creative projects
  • All associated admin
  • You will be happy with taking creative briefs from clients / stakeholders regarding projects and will be able to demonstrate creative flair in your contribution to campaign development and execution
  • Seek creative solutions to your client's needs by working closely with designers, developers, content creators etc
  • Be able to present internally and externally, and demonstrate a passion for growth in this area
  • Be able to contribute to the delivery of compelling presentations to clients, and contribute on client calls where necessary
  • Demonstrate a superb understanding of your key clients and their business needs
  • Demonstrate a solid knowledge of the marketing services / design / studio landscape, and take responsibility for continuing to grow your awareness of latest trends and offerings
  • Be actively seeking to grow your own creative network
  • Be an effective support to the events team in the development of event plans
  • Effectively negotiate and liaise with suppliers / freelancers where necessary
  • Follow the agency account management processes to a high standard
  • Responsible for the operational administration of all accounts status reports / contact reports etc
  • Participate effectively in the analysis and evaluation of campaigns, along side management
  • Build positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Be seen by your clients as an effective member of the team, and someone who contributes meaningfully to their marketing output


This role is hybrid, one day per week (a Tuesday) in the client's HQ (central Edinburgh), WFH 4 days (although there will be the opportunity to work out of the agency Edinburgh office if you so wish).


To be considered for this role, we are looking for a marketing/design graduate who ideally has 12 months experience in marketing, account management / agency - but more important than experience is attitude.
