Description

Teachers UK are currently looking to recruit a number of Cover Supervisors to complete daily work in Secondary schools across Chesterfield and the surrounding local areas.

The role of a Cover Supervisor -

To provide classroom supervision in the event of the teacher being absent
Make sure classrooms are kept tidy
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Report any potential safeguarding concerns
Proactively make sure pupils are learning and engaged

Requirements -

Bachelor's Degree in education or related field (not essential)
Experience working with students of Secondary School Age
Strong literacy skills and numeracy skills
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Be able to work with students in a calm but authoritative manner

Typical School hours are 8.30am-3.30pm. Any variance to this will be confirmed by your consultant prior to your assignment. We do also get requests for part days too if this is something you would be interested in.
