Kitchen Fitter - Available to start immediately

We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team. Based in Greater Manchester but working in different areas.

PAYE preferred but could be sub-contract.

About Us:

GGI is a rapidly expanding company in the energy efficiency sector.

We are accredited installations include Glazing and Doors, Insulation (Flat Roofs, Room in Roof, Underfloor, External Wall, Cavity Wall, Internal Wall, Loft, Pitched Roof) Lighting, Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Air Source Heat Pumps and Boiler/Heating systems.

About you:

GGI are looking for Full Time Kitchen Fitter as part of our planned works team, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of our Kitchen refurbishments and installs including all associated works within both occupied and unoccupied properties.

Duties:

Measuring out work areas according to plans.
Removing and disposing of old units, appliances and decor.
Measuring and cutting worktops.
Removing existing units
Fitting worktops
Using hand tools to perform various roles
Adhering to safety guidelines
Building wall units, cupboards and base units
Reporting to supervisors or managers.

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

A minimum GCSE Grade 4 / C in English and Maths or equivalent.
Clean Full UK Driving License and own vehicle (preffered)
Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
A good knowledge of the general building and construction industry.
Able to work well individually and liaise with our team
Attention to detail
Organised individual
Able to manage workload effectively
Communicate progress efficiently both to management and client.
Mathematical skills to calculate dimensions of buildings
Ability to demonstrate technical skills in both core trade and associated trades.
Good understanding and knowledge of basic Health and Safety.

£32,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
