Freezer Warehouse Operative

Market Drayton

£28,875 per annum

4 on 4 off shifts: 7am - 7pm and 11am - 11pm in rotation

We are currently recruiting for a Freezer Warehouse Operator at our Market Drayton site, to support the supply of a just-in-time service to the Operations facilities, whilst completing the receipt, booking-in and storage of materials from suppliers, ensuring all materials received are fit for purpose.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

Prioritise and Calculate just-in-time production requirements and picks whilst processing Miscellaneous Stock Requests within the warehouse
Organise the rotation and supply of raw ingredients and materials
Receipting, sorting and storing scheduled deliveries and returned goods, accounting for them, including Quantities and Quality status, on the appropriate management systems
Maintain good housekeeping standards within the Freezer warehouse
Adhere to Health & Safety practices and Standard Operating Procedures that are in place
Ensuring consignments are accurate, in good condition, and accompanied by the correct paperwork
Accurate labelling and storage of goods received form external and internal sources
Conduct daily checks of FLTs and ensure they are operated safely and correctly
Conduct planned stock takes and visual racking inspections
Provide support to the Repack facility when time allows, ensuring that the SLA (Service Level Agreement) for the Freezer is achieved
Using the Freezer Warehouse stock control system to pick product in order of Best Before date

Key skills and experience:

Warehouse experience is essential
Reach FLT licence is desirable
Counter Balance FLT license is desirable
Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail
Selfmotivated
Team Player
Able to operate Mechanical Handling Equipment
Experience using computerised stock control systems (training will be given)
Accurate planning of justintime production requirements
Exhibit the principles of good Raw Material Warehouse Management and housekeeping skills
