The Team:

The Marketing Operations team support the Global Marketing team as they strive to positively influence pipeline, drive client engagement, and build brand through creative marketing programs, differentiated channel management and operationalexcellence on achieving their sales, renewal, and retention goals.

The Impact:

As a member of the Marketing Department, you will provide event operational support for S&P Global Market Intelligences' Global audience of customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Senior Specialist with the development and execution of hosted events and conferences, including site selection, registration, attendee communications, audio visual, banqueting, technology, etc.
  • Support our presence and the logistics for our exhibits and sponsorships at third party events across EMEA, ensuring our brand is represented and leads have been obtained
  • Manage sourcing of promotional items and the tracking of our event equipment inventory, as well as managing the coordination between our team and vendors, and reconciling vendor invoices.
  • Work with the Senior Specialist to manage our events registration process by using the available systems to build websites and manage the attendee communications.
  • Support the marketing team in the creation of booth equipment, promotional items and event collateral, ensuring adherence to the S&P Global brand guidelines.
  • Track and manage event budgets, and conducts final expense reconciliation and reporting.

What We're Looking For:


  • An Event Operations Specialist to support a portfolio of global events and thirdparty sponsorships.
  • The role will see you assist the Event Operations team, in coordinating the logistics for S&P Global Market Intelligence's exhibit and sponsorship at third party sponsored conferences, as well as hosted events.
  • You will support the global events team with updating our internal event management system and keeping event expenses updated. In addition, you will assist the Senior Event Specialist with EMEA event inventory, venue sourcing, and support for our eventregistrants and attendees.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 13 years Event support and/or planning experience required
  • Working knowledge of event registration systems, namely Cvent preferred.
  • Knowledge of event apps.
  • Minimum travel, but ability to do so if required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven administrative, organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • English speaking/writing
