Summary:


To ensure that the business runs in accordance with policies, standards, and risk appetite while supporting the development and operational management of risk.

You will make sure that all risks, controls, events, and concerns are noted, evaluated, tracked,and given the proper mitigating treatment.

Additionally, you will ensure that senior management and other stakeholders are actively involved when producing reports to a high standard.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all appropriate risks are recorded and regularly reviewed and assessed
  • Make certain adequate controls are in place on risks and monitor/test them regularly
  • Continuously refine and improve risk review methodology
  • Support the team with identifying any risks that could significantly affect the business and escalate them appropriately
  • Produce accurate risk reports and metrics
  • Proactively identify and interpret changes in regulatory requirements, legislation, and industry best practice
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Units, Risk Management, and Internal Audit teams across the business to ensure synergies in the overall approach to risk and actions required at each level.
  • Drive the adoption of appropriate process documentation and controls
  • Support the creation of internal security policy

Experience required:


  • Information Security experience
  • Experience in Risk Management Framework
  • Experience with common Information Security Frameworks and tooling
  • Work collaboratively with a range of people to support the wider business agenda
  • Ability to prioritise quality results on time to budget of their own workload
  • Great communication skills
  • Qualifications such as CRISC, CISSP and the CompTIA+ (desirable)
