To be considered for this role you will be educated to a minimum of Higher grade level (or equivalent), with significant work experience within a relevant research or manufacturing environment.

You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, working to tight internal and external deadlines.

You will have significant experience of purchasing and procurement within a publicly funded organisation with knowledge of research grant funding, and specific knowledge of Catapult grant funding or other complex, multi-institutional research funding.


You will have experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel and substantial experience of the University's Financial Management System.

You will be an excellent communicator able to support and advise a diverse range of stakeholders. You must have the knowledge and confidence to challenge colleagues, including those at a senior level. You will have the ability to co-ordinate team activities and work as part of a team. You must also be familiar with university procedures and regulations relating to finance and purchasing/procurement.
