Position Summary:The Restaurant supervisor is responsible in helping, overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and managing the staff. The manager ensures that the quality standards, service standards, and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times. This individual will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience by communicating effectively with guests and resolving any guest concerns. The manager will also be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business by coordinating with the rest of the team in ensuring that all operational goals are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures restaurant is fully staffed and ready to serve by checking in guests at the door or in lobby. Ensures all restaurant service goals are met.
- Coordinates daily front of house and back of house restaurant operations.
- Coordinates daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet service.
- Coordinates daily dining room service and cleaning. Ensures dining room is clean and ready for guests arrival.
- Coordinates all cleaning throughout the facility including restrooms, hallways, kitchen areas, and other areas as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Coordinates daily inventory of food and supplies throughout the facility including ordering, receiving, inventorying, purchasing, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Coordinates weekly maintenance projects throughout the facility (i.e., painting projects).
- Coordinates weekly cleaning projects throughout the facility (i.e., trash removal projects).
- Coordinates daily cash handling duties (i.e., cash reconciliation).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience managing a fullservice restaurant with an understanding of all aspects of running a high volume business. A college degree is preferred but not required. A high level of energy and enthusiasm is required to work in this role as you will be in charge of making sure that every aspect of your shifts are running smoothly from start to finish. A background in food service is preferred but not required; you will be expected to learn how to run a food service operation effectively as well as uphold all health and safety standards at all times while providing guests with a memorable dining experience at Curleys dining room

Salary:
£9,200.00-£10,000.00 per year
Schedule:
