Due to ongoing company growth we have a vacancy for a
Welder / Fabricator.

We believe in continuous improvement, and strive to provide our customers with well manufactured, quality products

As a Welder / Fabricator with us at Brooks Engineering, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of products, including, structural steelwork, vehicle components and bespoke customer requests.

Duties and Responsibilities.

Marking up of material.
Fabrication of a variety of materials.
Welding of aluminium, mild and stainless steels.
MIG / TIG Welding.
Operating machinery and hand tools.
Assembly of products and vehicle bodies.
Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety regulations.
Suggesting and implementing ways to improve processes.

The successful applicant must have a positive 'can-do' attitude and show a keen eye to detail. Be self motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management and a full UK driving license are also essential.

Previous experience working for a Lean thinking company is advantageous but not necessary.

Pay dependant on experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for anybody looking to learn new skills or develop an established career in the fabrication trade.

Salary:
Up to £15.00 per hour
