We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team of talented artists, working across our feature and episodic productions in our Animation division.


As a Production Supervisor responsible for ensuring the department artists schedule is maintained and artists assigned to schedule and cast according to ability/strengths, working alongside the Leads, Sups and Head of Department.


Responsibilities:


  • Generates set reports on regular basis to track the show's progress and works closely with the Sr. Production Management team to help steer the team as needed
  • Builds and maintains strong communication internally, with the Leads, Heads of Departments, Production colleagues as well as externally with the client
  • Works closely with the other Production Supervisors and Production Coordinators. Has regular team checkins to ensure all the individual departments' Production team members are aware of their priorities as well as to check how they are progressing within their departments
  • Escalates to the Producer/ Production Manager any issues or risks that might impact the schedule/ important deliveries
  • Runs important reviews, builds playlists, follows up with detailed notes and action items for required team members.
  • Builds the SG management system (including pages, tracking systems, etc.) specific for the show alongside the Sr. Production Management team and helps train up the other Production Sups/ PCs/ PAs as necessary
  • Understands the pipeline and has a sensibility to understand the impact of issues within the team that can impact further down the pipeline and communicate with the wider production teams
  • Participates as well as runs Production meetings and provides departments the updates as needed
  • Follows up on any action items from any meetings as instructed and works closely with the Production Managers to deliver the show in time and to budget
  • Mentors/trains the Production Coordinators on the team and works closely with them to ensure daily coordination and tracking of tasks between artists and leads
