This is a fixed term, full time appointment until 31 March 2024.

The Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to lead work on a newly funded research project.


This involves analysis of neurocognitive data (EEG, eyetracking,NIRS) from existing large-scale longitudinal studies of infants, children and adults with and without autism and/or ADHD.

The projects are conducted with large-scale European network, with whom the postholder will collaborate. The EU-funded project (CANDY) tracks trajectories of risk and resilience in mental health.

You will mainly focus on analysis of data, although there may also be some testing with children and adults.


Ideally, you will have:


  • Strong statistical skills, particularly in longitudinal modelling;
  • Experience with AI or data science methods; and an emerging publication record;
  • An interest in using existing data to ask innovative new questions about neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Experience with collection and/or analysis of neurocognitive methods like EEG, eyetracking, NIRS, virtual reality and behavioral assessment with infants and toddlers.

Remuneration:

Grade 7 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £40,348 rising to £46,118 per annum.


The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
