With over 1,000 suppliers based in the UK, their latest recorded spend was over £1.3bn.

The organisation have divisions in cyber, operational, infrastructure and technology procurement and are seeking an efficient, ambitious and adaptable person to step up into the Head of Procurement opportunity within the infrastructure division.

Each year, the international transportation organisation set clear objectives and strategies to align with their organisational goals. As the Head of Procurement in the Infrastructure division, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership team and use your expertise and influence to lead on the end-to-end procurement process, supplier management, post-contract management and much more

As the Head of Procurement in Infrastructure, your responsibilities will include:

Working collaboratively with other departments such as technology, operational and more to enable cohesion of best practices and to assist with the procurement life cycle.
Leading the Infrastructure Procurement team by assessing the performance through reviews, mentoring, and celebrating and rewarding success.
Presenting innovative strategies and market trends to further assist the development of the team's sustainability response.
Building and maintaining rapport with key stakeholders and supplier partners to support supplier management, deliver on savings and claims management.
Managing your team to ensure the procurement process is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
An abundance of proven experience in leading procurement roles at a senior level across infrastructure.
Excellent strategic procurement skills and proficiency throughout the endtoend process.
Awareness of contract risks and the ability to create bespoke contracts to include services, supplies and framework agreements.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to be an inspiring role model for your team.
