Play & Learn are looking for someone to join our team in a busy nursery setting, catering for children under 5 on a full time basis.

We are hoping to find an individual who is passionate, driven and enthusiastic, it is essential that this person has a sound knowledge of the EYFS and statutory requirements and has experience working with children up to 5 years of age.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To be a Key person to a group of children
To liaise with parents regarding their Child's care and development
To complete daily paper work by hand and via Tapestry online journal.
To have knowledge of safeguarding and Birmingham City Council procedures for referrals
To have basic knowledge of food hygiene and good hygiene practices
To have knowledge of first aid
To complete planning and activities in line with children's individual development following the development matters document in Early Years Foundation Stage
To be an excellent role model and provide the children with communication and language to observe and imitate in order to scaffold children's learning

Applicants must hold at least a level 3 qualification in childcare and education, and hold a current DBS.
