PURPOSE OF JOB:

To assist in all aspects of patient care with in the Radiology department.
To assist with housekeeping duties i.e. cleaning specialist equipment.
To input accurate patient data into the Radiology Information System, and
DR/CR system in a timely manner.
To make up slides of biopsy samples for microscopic examination by Histology /Pathology.

You will support the work of the Radiology Department to assist Radiologists and Radiographers in performing a range of Radiological procedures, including Ultrasound, Xray examinations, MRI and CT.
Supporting patients during procedures.
Maintain basic stock levels in Radiology.
Participate in department meetings and performance planning.
Working with other Radiology Assistants to develop services.
Mentor and train other Radiology Assistants.
