Description
As the Senior Finance Officer your duties will include:

  • Managing Accounts Payable and providing cover for the Accounts Payable Assistant
  • Managing Accounts Receivable for a small number of international and local customers
  • Preparing BACS, bank and cheque payments for UK and international vendors as required
  • Petty cash management
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Master data maintenance
  • Providing cover for other members of the Finance team
  • Reviewing and updating internal procedures for processes as required
  • Assisting with half yearly company stock checks
  • VAT return
  • Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
  • Budgets/Forecasts
  • Preparing Year End Accounts
Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • SAP
  • Microsoft Excel competent
  • AAT qualification is desirable
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Capacity to work to tight deadlines, effectively prioritising own workload
  • Good organisational skills and a flexible approach
  • AAT qualified, or equivalent relevant qualification

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£35,929.00-£38,641.00 per year
