Estimator (Brickwork/Scaffolding)

Negotiable dependent on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator based in Notting Hill. This role will be office based, with occasions of travelling to sites in London.


We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can use their own initiative to prioritise tasks to effectively complete tasks in the required deadlines.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial activities across a diverse range of projects, maximising value, margin, and market share and collaborating with Directors and Quantity Surveyors on contractual matters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake estimates from clients.
  • Liaising on Brickwork and Scaffolding projects.
  • Identify opportunity and risk during the tender process.
  • Return Tender prices using pricing schedules.
  • Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic, and business issues.
  • Manage the handover process (to Operations) for all secured opportunities.
  • Interface with all parts of business as necessary for the completion of bids and proposals.
  • Perform a review of win and loss opportunities to ensure key lessons are learned.
  • Reviewing trends and carrying out data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, agree, and deliver on key performance indicators for the Role.

Experience and Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as an estimator (35 Years)
  • Previous experience working on brickwork and scaffolding projects
  • Contractual awareness.
  • Experience of preparing Extension of Time and loss & expense claims.
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be decisive in judgements.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Organised and focused on meeting required targets.

£35,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
