Applications are invited for the post of Service Advisor for our Mertrux Limited. This is a full-time position, reporting to the After Sales Manager.


Your main duties on the front desk will include advising customers, updating customer authority numbers, progress chasing and raising the correct documentation.

You will need to take photographs and read job cards to gather evidence to update relevant systems with an aim of first-time approval and costing of jobs which includes both estimating and invoicing.


The person we are looking for must have previous experience of working in a dealership service environment, ideally commercial vehicles however other experience may be considered.

You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and previous mechanical experience would be an advantage. You need to be enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging situations.


Mertrux invest heavily in their people ensuring that they receive the main dealer training and support they need to grow with the company.

Hours of work are on a rota;
7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday

8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

9:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Plus 1 in 4 Saturdays by arrangement with management

Skills;

  • Motor trade experience essential
  • Mechanical knowledge essential
  • Previous experience Kerridge desirable
  • You should be a confident communicator
