Position Description
Cleaner wanted for early morning or late night shifts at our facilities in Bermondsey. Around 10 hours weekly.


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled cleaner to join our team.

As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities and ensuring they are safe and sanitary for all visitors and employees.

Your duties will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the toilets, and other cleaning tasks as required, as well as following all safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms.

Ensure that all areas are free of debris, dust, and other contaminants

Dust and wipe down surfaces.

Sweep, mop.

Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low

Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including using proper equipment and handling cleaning chemicals appropriately

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management

Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform regular cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning windows and equipment
• Organize plant equipment in a safe manner for future use
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean work area
• Assist in the preparation of cleaning solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain separation guidelines at work area
• Follow all plant sanitation procedures and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision or under direction
• Ability to handle physical workload of task at hand comfortably while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions or instructions that are on paper or on a screen
• Ability to write or type accurately

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 11 per week


Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour
