We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim's Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim's UK & Pilgrim'sFood Masters).

Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.

As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation.

We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.

The Shared Services company includes a dedicated Continuous Improvement function, whose core responsibility is to drive positive business transformation across the business.

Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager we are pleased to advise that we are nowrecruiting for an IT Service Delivery Specialist
The Role

As part of the Service Delivery team you will be working across a broad range of technologies and liaising with multiple areas of the business to support our environment.

Technical Service will be your passion with hunger for learning and personal development.
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you will be supporting your colleagues in delivering exemplary service. You will be responsible for provision of specialist technical support, control and proactive maintenance across the End User environment. Providing "handson" on-site technical support and guidance to colleagues.

Ensuring the delivery of service meets availability/usability requirements both for the current and future needs of the business and our customers.

You will need to follow approved processes includingincident management and request fulfilment to ensure a high level of customer service.

Job Responsibilities

  • To provide onsite specialist 2nd line technical support and administration of Pilgrim's desktop and audiovisual hardware
  • To act as ambassadors for the IT department providing a professional and efficient service to colleagues always
  • To act as point of contact on technical issues for IT through incident resolution
  • Participation and engagement in projects/service improvements
  • 3rd party/vendor liaison with respect to technical support and asset management
  • Meet levels of service in line with published/agreed SLAs
  • Adherence to all Pilgrim's processes including:
  • Raising and implementation of change tickets
  • Identify, investigate, update and resolve problem records
  • Active handover to support engagement ensuring that technology implemented is supportable and maintainable
  • To ensure all supporting documentation is maintained in line with technology improvements and maintenance activities
  • Maintain awareness of current developments
  • Able to work unsocial hours when required which may include short durations away from home e.g. exec events & projects
What You'll Need

  • Aligned to the company's core values and competences
  • Essential 2 years+ experience of delivering, maintaining, and supporting IT systems remotely/onsite
  • Hands on support, delivery and build experience with several of the following technology areas:
  • Microsoft products: Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, SCCM & Intune
  • Supporting and Imaging of Laptops
  • Supporting company enrolment mobile devices
  • Supporting managed printing solutions/hardware
  • Supporting Audio-Visual equipment
  • Network routing & switching
  • Network cable patching
  • VOIP telephony config and support
