SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Duration: 12 months

Location:
Hybrid - 1 day a week in Wokingham

Pay rate:
£43.06 per hour

Job Purpose:

Provide financial leadership and controllership for the full P&L of the UK cluster, a $165MM+ commercial organization.
Serve as key business partner to the UK Sales Director and the UK Commercial Sales Team helping to shape strategy and providing financial advice and support to enable decision making.

Finance reporting, budget planning and Finance function strategy:

Active participation in monthly, quarterly and yearend sales closing to enable timely submission of accurate sales financial information to EMA region, partner & engage with associates from Shared Services and sales variance analysis.
Proactive management of the sales P&L to ensure profit target is met through a close monitoring of risks & opportunities.
Active participation in budget construction, close partnering with the sales team to analyse and understand their needs and challenges.
Ensure compliance with client World Wide Procedures and SOX requirements.
Improve and maintain Internal Controls documentation in conjunction with Regional Sox Manager.
Lead of Ad Hoc Regional Finance projects.
Involvement in / drive standardization of process improvement.

Business partnering:

Indepth collaboration with the Sales Director and the UK Sales Team to provide proactive & innovative solutions to understand their challenges and resolve Business concerns.
Partner with Commercial Sales Team to build business cases and monitor product/customer contribution improvement.
Revenue tracking, pricing and return of investments analysis to facilitate profitability improvement.
Monitor, analyse and share macroeconomic environment, frame the possible financial implication & partner with Business to shape how it translates for the UK business.

Experience and skills:

University/Master degree in Finance or General Management and/or Recognised Professional Accountancy or MBA qualification if applicable.
Minimum +5 years of business experience in controlling, auditing or finance consulting with first successful experience of finance business partnering and/or 5+ year Business experience.
