Finance Manager

Location - Blackburn
Salary - £60,000 DOE

Simpson Judge are working with a world-leading retailer, with offices based in Blackburn.

What would my main responsibilities be?

  • Monitor the daytoday financial operations within the company
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports, providing key points and recommendations
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, operational colleagues and relevant departments
  • Provide databacked recommendations to support effective decisionmaking
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct and differences investigated
  • Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
  • Deep involvement in the yearend audit process on performancerelated queries
  • Undertake various project work such as automation, systems (SAP/POS) improvement
  • Oversee and produce monthly Board Pack and Profit & Loss Account

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3+ years postqualification experience
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a growing fastpaced environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ambitious and selfmotivated individual
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
