Our client are a market leader in the new build construction industry delivering architectural and structural steelwork projects across London and surrounding counties.

All our products and procedures are structured around our factory control manual and ISO systems which deliver the highest standards recognised within our industry.


Currently based between two main sites, Biggleswade and Wilden we are perfectly situated to supply our schemes across London and the surrounding areas.

Job Role

This position is based in London and surrounding areas. The ability to drive is essential due to visiting multiple projects possibly transportation of tools and materials.

We are seeking a manager of structural and architectural metalwork, glazed balustrades, and balconies.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering good rates of pay working with a market leader.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement where necessary
  • Work at all levels with staff, coworkers, and other trades
  • Forecast future work and project planning
  • Organising and deploying labour
  • Manage daily activities of staff, including subcontractors/ contractors in respect of Health & Safety and Quality program
  • Attend site progress meetings
  • Attend internal managers meetings
  • Complete internal paperwork including but not limited to inductions, RAMS register, toolbox talks
  • Update our internal system on project progress
  • Awareness of ISO 9001 and 45001 and adhere to the processes and procedures
  • Manage a team
  • Managing snagging and defects
  • Maintain program
Person Specification

  • Strive to achieve high standards
  • Experience in similar role
  • Computer literate
  • CSCS & SMSTS (as a minimum)
  • Additional qualifications advantageous
  • Ability to create and drive program's
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Attention to H&S issues and high standards of quality
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Problem solving
  • Commercial awareness
Hours of work, pay and benefits

  • Permanent Full-Time position
- £41k - £49k per annum DOE
