The Role:

  • We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to join a fast-paced operational environment. You will work as part of a project team working on projects to increase the efficiency and quality of School Transport. You will take charge of and be responsible for the delivery of several workstreams. Problem-solving, negotiation skills, and ability to manage multiple work tasks are essential.
  • The School Transport Service are responsible for ensuring 13,500 children get to and from school, working with parents and carers, transport operators and schools. Due to significant increases in demand, spend and challenging market conditions, we want to ensure that our service is fit for the future. We are therefore looking for Senior Transport Project Officers who can work in a collaborative way with parents, schools, transport companies and colleagues. There will be a mix of office-based working, work from home and from other locations in Hampshire.
