Description
We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager for a powerhouse company within the Retail/Luxury Fashion industry, who will lead on critical delivery of IT projects within the Product Development and Supply Chain Portfolio of the client.
They willlead across a complex multi-function, multi-vendor, global environment and ensure delivery balancing time, cost and quality while maintaining excellent stakeholder management.

Essential experience:
- Come from a Retail background
- Understanding of Product Development, Merchandising, Internal Manufacturing and Supply Chain
- Leading projects endtoend, from inception and vision creation through to acceptance into service and support
- Strong experience managing project financials including initial business case, estimates, budgets, and forecasts across Opex and Capex
- RAID planning (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies)
- Ability to control over projects/budgets/time/risk
- Experience of delivering £250k£5m projects/programmes on time and on budget
- Using Microsoft Excel as a management tool
- Extremely proactive and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment
- Proven leadership and people management expertise, with the ability to prioritise activities and influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve results
- Act as the bridge between the business and technical functions and understand the broader, business wide context of decisions
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage internal resource across a matrix organization and across a supplier landscape globally
- Define and manage a clear communication strategy across project team up to executive levels
- Create and maintain accurate programmewide RAID log and ensure that the relevant parties are involved in addressing each factor
- Directly manage experienced workstream leads within the project of work
- Work closely with product manager/BA/Architect forming the delivery side of a very structured team
- Establish an approach for ensuring the realisation of benefits and the measurement of those benefits against the business case across the entire programme
- Proactivity manages a complex project stakeholder environment up to executive level, as well as managing challenging 3rd parties/vendors
- Close projects and conduct lessons learned sessions to capture and document the knowledge and ensure its availability to other programme and project managers
