We are currently seeking a number of Water Management & Leakage Detection Apprentices, with an ambition to work in the water industry.

We recognise that our people are what make us a great place to work, so we're always looking for talented individuals that have the drive and ambition to help the environment by reducing water leakage.


The Role

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Water Management & Leakage Engineers assisting in leakage management on both public and private water networks.

Working outdoors you will develop the skills to carry out a full range of water management and leak detection activities on behalf of our clients to include:


  • Design and verification of leakage zones, production of leakage and water use assessments
  • Use of GIS to assist with leakage detection activities and reporting
  • Programming, deployment, collection and analysis of flow, pressure and acoustic logging equipment
  • Assisting with all forms of leakage detection under the direction of a lead technician
  • Carrying out valve operations, water pressure checks, installing pressure and acoustic logging equipment
  • Being part of a company who is forefront in the development of new innovations and techniques

The Person

  • Previous outdoor work experience.
  • Professional attitude and good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Target driven to contribute towards the achievement of contract objectives
  • Hold a full valid clean driving license and have transport to and from work sites
  • Ability to cope with the physical nature of the role including entry into confined spaces.

£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
