Your new role

The client is looking for a Senior/Principal wastewater process engineer to be the technical point of contact for their UK division, liaise with clients and manage and execute both domestic and industrial effluent/wastewater treatment projects, including theremoval of bio-solids and sludge dewatering.

This needs to be done safely, within a budget, to compliance standards, with a focus on meeting deadlines.

This is based in Wales, however, there is a London office that could be used as a base, travelling to Waleswhen necessary.

Other Responsibilities Will Include

  • Being a main technical point of contact for the company
  • Liaising with clients on behalf of the company
  • Optimising, troubleshooting, and designing processes and reviewing them for improvements
  • Overseeing processes and managing data, including supervision of daily sludge and effluent tests
  • Maintaining a safe, efficient, and effective workplace.
  • Ensuring staff conform to safe working practices
  • Writing up regular reports for head office
  • Potential for international travel
What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and problemsolving abilities
  • Background in leading projects/ project management skills
  • Experience as a team leader would be advantageous
  • Extensive experience in water/wastewater treatment and processing fields
  • A focus on integrity and compliance
