The EYFS Lead:
For this EYFS Lead position, you must be a QTS EYFS Lead with extensive experience working with the early years curriculum.
You should be a strong leader, capable of managing several members of staff and looking after the wellbeing of the pupils, staff, andparents within early years.
You must consistently act as a positive role model, and be ambitious in your plans for the department.You must be an EYFS Lead that takes an active role in your own professional development, as well as the development of the earlyyears provision.
The EYFS Lead Role:
As the EYFS Lead, you will be managing the EYFS team to create a cohesive approach to teaching the reception classes.
You will be responsible for creating and adapting policies and schemes of work, as well as overseeing the quality of teaching.
As EYFS Lead,you will create guidance for EYFS staff, ensuring they are prepared, where required, in the school's planning, marking and assessment systems.
You will also build relationships with local nurseries, ensuring that the transition into school is well managed.The School:
