To support our continued success and growth not only do we have an incredible team of talented permanent staff but an extensive bank of external freelance associates that expertly support key operational functions such as the development and review of qualification and assessment materials, undertake invigilation, assessment, and quality assurance duties.


To facilitate our continued growth, we are looking for an exceptionally organised and highly self-motivated individual to join our Human Resources department to support on-going recruitment activities for internal permanent positions.


This role will work at the heart of the Company and will play a crucial role in ensuring that we are maximising opportunities to attract talent and implement a robust recruitment and on-boarding process to support the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Ideally the role would suit an individual with previous proven recruitment resourcing experience who thrives on being organised.

They will have significant experience in coordination and diary management and is able to work in a fast-paced environment offering a flexible and dynamic customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly liaise with internal departments to determine staff needs to contribute to a recruitment resourcing plan
  • Proactively support the recruitment process of all permanent staff
  • Arrange interviews
  • Assist with interviews as requested
  • Provide feedback to unsuccessful job applicants in a constructive and professional manner
  • Proactively engage with appropriate external recruitment agencies and job boards to advertise roles and attract applicants
  • Engage with social media to promote specific job vacancies to attract and source new talent
  • Use internal systems including the PeopleHR applicant tracking system (ATS) to track applicant progress and support onboarding of staff through liaison with the wider HR team.
  • Coordinate role specific recruitment/assessment days to maximise efficiencies
  • Act as a central point of contact for all staff recruitment to manage communications as well as between internal departments
  • Provide preemployment and compliance checks, such as Right to Work screening in line with internal policy and relevant legislation/ regulatory requirements
  • Develop in depth knowledge relating to Right to Work checks and the alternative routes for differing categories of applicant. Keep abreast of changes in this area.
  • Produce periodic reports relating to recruitment activity as required by HR Manager, Leadership and Executive Teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of the recruitment industry and best practices
  • Conduct periodic benchmarking against comparable external roles and salaries
  • Keep track of costs relating to job advertising and recruitment agencies usage
  • Maintain and update SOPs pertaining to own area of responsibility

Other responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Training Qualifications UK internal processes and of the wider educational landscape
  • Maintain excellent in depth knowledge of Training Qualifications UK products and services
  • Manage data: inputting, filing and monitoring
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate a smooth recruitment journey for all job applicants
  • Work to improve and streamline processes and integrate the outcomes of your own work
  • Undertake other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business as required

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of coordination and diary management
  • Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have sound IT skills to support core role functions
  • Have sound judgement and decisionmaking skills

Desirable Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications**- At least two years proven recruitment resourcing experience.

  • Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing
  • Experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HR Information System
  • Have some previous knowledge of the awarding and assessing industry.
