School Administrator - Hackney - ASAP Start
A welcoming and diverse Hackney Primary School are looking for a School Administrator to join their office team.
The role is due to start ASAP and will last until the end of the academic year, with a view of continuing in 2024/25.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, term time only. The hourly pay for this role is £13- £16.Previous school administration experience is required.

About the role:
The successful School Administrator will provide high quality administrative and clerical support in the main school office.
Duties will include:
- To be one of the first points of contact welcoming parents, carers, staff and students
- Processing ID checks for all visitors in accordance with the school's safeguarding procedures ensuring everyone is signed in and out
- Handling difficult situations and issues with sensitivity and calm, ensuring you are always aware of the safeguarding of pupils
- Logging school data via SIMs
- Recording school meals on Parent Pay
- Making travel arrangements in accordance with school trip needs, book tube tickets and/or coaches are required.
- Creating Admission Packs and ensure that the material is up to date
The successful School Administrator will have:
- Previous school office experience
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent people and team working skills
- Excellent organisation
- Able to use their own initiative
- Proficient using all Microsoft packages
- SIMs experience
