Description

Effective time management is essential to this role to satisfy customer expectations.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience and relevant qualifications so that the transition into a new environment is as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties

Placing orders with suppliers
Dealing with customer and internal queries on leadtimes
Working to tight deadlines.
Production planning
Scheduling production in line with orders.
Allergen awareness
Researching new suppliers
Researching new ingredients
Helping the senior buyer with procurement activities
Complying with BRC standard for procurement.
Working with technical team to remain compliant to standard.
Working with the sales team to keep them updated regarding supply of goods
Working with production to keep them updated on meeting production schedule.
Assisting with nonconformances where relevant.
Be aware of vulnerabilities in the supply chain.
This list is not exhaustible of tasks and you may be asked to complete work that is out with your normal remit as we are a small business and all work together to the same aims and objectives.

Have a positive working relationship with all staff at Ingram Brothers.

Ideal Qualifications and skills

Relevant experience
Please specify any other qualifications.
Able to work all Microsoft office software such as word, excel.

Hours
Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm

Friday 8am-4pm

May be required to work overtime at busy periods.

Salary:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
