Working hours**: 32.5 hours per week
The Governors of Ysgol Gymraeg Y Castell wish to appoint Teaching Assistants to work at this progressive school.
We want to appoint dedicated and motivated practitioners who will:
- actively working as part of a strong team.
- leading work 1-1 and in group situations with pupils across the school.
- leading work 1-1 and in group situations with targeted pupils across the school.
- have good interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly and constructively as part of a team.
- providing excellent experiences for individuals and groups of young learners both inside and outside the classroom.
- have a sound understanding of the National Curriculum.
- be able to value and support the role of other
- ready to participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- be able to work under the direction of the classroom teacher to ensure that high quality learning takes place.
- working sensitively with parents to ensure the wellbeing of all pupils.
- Occasional supervision of entire classes when teachers are absent in the short term.
