Description

We are looking for a confident support worker, with 6 months experience having passion for delivering outstanding care in a supported living environment and also out in the community.

The Role:

As a Support Worker you will be able to be apart in the person centred care specific to the service user this role requires.

Supporting with social and physical activities
Booking and going with people to appointments
Helping with personal care such as support with showering and dressing if required
Supporting with meal preparations eating and drinking
Following a care plan
Protecting dignity and privacy
Promoting independence and choice

This Specific role requires that you have the following:

Experience in supporting people on the Autistic Spectrum
Experience in supporting people with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia / Personality disorder / Bipolar
Experience in supporting people with Challenging behaviour and associated complex presentation in times of crisis
Resilience
Laid back approach
Some or all of the above would be great and some are more negotiable than others
