Accounts Payable Assistant


Our client a leading employer of choices is currently looking to recruit for an
Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team.


The Role

  • Processing supplier invoices, matching to goods receipts, seeking approval if necessary
  • Uploading posted purchase documents to document management
  • Ensuring subcontractor invoices are checked and approved
  • Maintain company purchase ledger
  • Liaising with suppliers and purchasing department to resolve invoice queries
  • Providing information on transaction history to managers as required
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Prepare and process payments for weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Other ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum 2 year (+) in an accounts / finance position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work off own initiative and as part of a team
  • A positive cando attitude towards work
  • Good computer skills

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year


Experience:

- purchase ledger: 1 year (preferred)

  • Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
