We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal and Compliance Administrator to join our Legal, Compliance, Shared Value and Sustainability team based in our Head Office in Manchester.

Joining us in the role of Legal and Compliance Administrator you will provide administrative support, guidance and coordination to the Legal, Compliance, Shared Value and Sustainability Director and team.

Purpose

To provide administrative support, guidance and coordination to the Legal, Compliance, Shared Value and Sustainability Director and team.

To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with Chiesi Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the ABPI Code of Practice and other relevant internal and external requirements.

Profile

Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including but not limited to Word, Outlook and Excel)
Be a good team player
Be able to work on their own initiative
Have strong organisational skills
Be willing to learn to work on new systems as required by the role
Be willing and able to undertake and assist in a range of Legal & Compliance activities, including audits
Strong written & oral communication skills
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills


The individual will pursue excellence in all aspects of their work to support colleagues to achieve business goals as defined within the Legal, Compliance, Shared Value and Sustainability department.

Previous experience of working in a professional office environment where high standards of work are continually achieved is essential to the role.


The individual should have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and, where necessary, bring different disciplines together to achieve the desired outcome.

Experience of coordinating inter-departmental meetings with defined outputs is desirable. There must be an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

A full working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office programs (as above) is essential.

Main Responsibilities

Contracts - facilitating and providing advice to staff regarding the contract process from start to finish
Managing the contract database, issuing and recording agreements and documents
Supporting other members of the team as required with Overseas Agreements
Updating the SOP Matrix
Supporting the running of the Procedural Document Governance Group - responsible for keeping the Document Master Plan (DMP) up to date/scheduling meetings/action points and dealing with all the new SOP requests
Administering SAP for the Legal & Compliance team
Assisting the Legal & Compliance Department in the best use of available resources and processes to meet industry deadlines
Providing general administration for the team, including booking travel and accommodation, booking courses, entering and/or renewing professional subscriptions
Obtaining and maintaining an understanding of the company environment, compliance requirements and policies and procedures relevant to activities undertaken.

In line with annual objectives, contributing and supporting the UK Affiliate in its pursuit to become more sustainable, ensuring that you and/or your teams commit to and deliver at least 2 initiatives each year.
