An exciting opportunity has been presented for a brand new role within the Adult Forensic Service on the Prestwich Site.

The role of a Senior Administrator will take responsibility to line manage a team of secretaries,


provide a full and comprehensive admin support role, to manage and co-ordinate the administrative and ancillary support function for clinical support offices, ensuring most efficient and effective use of resources.


The post holder will have line management and supervisory responsibility for the clinical support offices, and will be responsible for the co-ordination of the validation of all reports coming into the service in regards to data quality and date completeness.


As part of this role you will ensure all systems and processes are effective, all documentation, information and care documentation are generated and sent to relevant parties.

Provide cover for the Subject Access Senior Administrator or Inpatient Senior Administrator.

Ensure adequate cover is in place for the team for sickness and annual leave, health rostering input. Attend meetings and deputise for the Administration Manager in their absence. Minute take other meetings as and when necessary.


Be a support to quality improvement performance across the whole admin team, provide personal assistance support to the relevant team leads.


You will be a part of the development and establishment of all new systems and procedures to support the service.

Management of apprenticeship/trainee/agency staff members ensuring effective office systems are maintained and support is offered when needed.

Maintain the Trust Electronic Patient Record - PARIS.

Attend regular administration meetings and relevant ward/inpatient meetings, disseminate relevant information to teams to ensure a good communication within the service.

Take responsibility for own workload, learning and development by taking opportunities including training, appraisals and supervisions.
