Electrical Fitter / Panel Builder

Salary:
£15.00ph - £16.00ph

Location:
Letchworth
**Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am

4:00pm**
This role will involve:*** Building of control panels and bespoke machinery
Machine and component wiring
Panel layouts
Working from schematics

Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Electrical Fitters/Panel Builders begin work for a leading engineering company based in Letchworth.

Working out of their new state of art facility, they design, manufacture, assemble, test and ship bespoke machinery used to complete complex tasks which are required to guarantee product quality.

Covering a wide variety of industries including the medical and scientific sectors, they are market leaders in the concept design and manufacture of high precision, fully automated, bespoke machinery.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit additional Electrical Fitters/Control Panel Wirers to meet the requirements of their new and existing customers and projects.

You will be responsible for:

Electrically building bespoke machinery from the ground up.
Wiring up panels following schematics and wiring diagrams.
Machine wiring including instrumentation, robotic systems, HMI's, camera systems, motors, pumps etc.
Laying out of control panels, drilling, tapping, inserting components, etc.
Working closely with the engineering team throughout the build and test phase.
Timeserved, from electrical engineering background.
Fully qualified and Ideally hold a formal qualification e.g., C&G / NVQ / ONC although not essential.
Experienced in building and wiring machines or building electrical systems.
Experienced with reading engineering drawings, including schematics & layout drawings, etc.
Ideally, experienced in panel building/wiring training can be provided for this part of the role.
