The Role & What You Will Be Doing


Develop and manage marketing strategy and activitiy of brands and associated therapeutic area/s for Viatris UK ensuring plans are in place to meet budgeted sales and profits with all tactical plans/ activities tailored to meet local product strategies and market conditions, whilst being aligned to any corporate marketing directives.

  • Lead cross functional brand team for successful strategy development and implementation. Leading key projects, meetings, congresses which require time spent in the field.
  • Management of Professional Relationship Manager (PRM) and other roles as applicable
  • Cooperation with Global Key Brands and European marketing teams to represent the UK in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • To collaborate with business development and portfolio expansion teams to assess future opportunities within the therapeutic area.
  • Development and implementation of local marketing plans for all relevant product lines. To include tactical plans and brand positioning. Brand plans to cover a
  • 5 years period.
  • Management and monitoring of all marketing KPIs, to include delivery of commercial action plans where necessary.
  • Identification of the most appropriate, effective and cost-effective support and communication plans, within each relevant product / product category and target audience.
  • Preparation of advertising and promotional materials in collaboration with the European / Global teams as appropriate and within budget. To include sales support or educational materials, using multi-media approach, as relevant, in close collaboration with the medical team and CoE.
  • Key opinion leader / product expert identification and relationship building. Influencing of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Accurate monthly and long-term forecasting aligned with supply chain capabilities.
  • Interpretation of IQVIA market data and clinical information; provision of in-depth competitor analysis, working closely with the business intelligence team.
  • UK sales team training as required.
About Your Skills & Experience


Essential Experience and competencies- ABPI qualified- Good knowledge of the UK healthcare system- Demonstrable sales or marketing success within the NHS- Commercial acumen, business oriented- Able to manage several projects concurrently.

- Able to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Desirable experience and competencies- Degree or similar level qualification in a life science, business or marketing specialisation- Demonstrable success in a UK based Pharmaceutical & KOL management

Other- Business travel or working at other locations may be required
