Since COVID, CardioScan has developed a new cardiac diagnostic standard in the UK by:

  • Conducting a fast remote Holter service directly to the patient's home in accordance with patients' preferences;
  • Advocating multiday Holter diagnostic to generate a more robust clinical results for patients and simplified cardiac operations for hospitals;
  • Triaging patients for a home or hospitalbased service to adapt the clinical diagnostic to patients' preferences;
  • Generating clinical, patient preference and operational data to define the new diagnostic standard.
CardioScan continues to innovate on behalf of our global customer base to provide a technology led, cardiac reporting service.

About the role


The position of Patient Liaison Officer is responsible for handling logistics activities, operations and administrative tasks and reports into the Operation Coordinator.

The role specifically focuses on delivering an exceptional patient centred service.

You will work both independently and within a team, to diligently plan, organise and carry out logistics activities that will assist the company to meet targets, improve the flow of inbound and outbound operations.


This role may be suitable for someone with experience in an administration role who is looking for their next learning challenge.

Key responsibilities:


  • Coordinate & expedite requests, timespecific pickups and deliveries and other special requests.
  • Keep customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date, method, and current status.
  • Undertake basic data collection, analysis and distribution activities.
  • Complete word processing and spreadsheet tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • To provide a general enquiry and information service to all patients, public and other clinical colleagues.
  • Feedback to line Manager any problems that patients are experiencing and work with other departments to resolve issues where possible.

You will have;

  • An empathetic nature whilst demonstrating a strong communication ability.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of working in customer service.
  • Experience of working in a busy work environment where you may have had exposure to or involvement in logistics.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft word/excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records.
  • An analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
